Acthyderm
With the help of a handpiece, a special electrical current is applied to the skin and creates microscopic ducts that reach into the deep layers of the skin. After that, a gel containing active agents is smeared on the skin. A high percentage of active agents (up to 99% depending on the active agent) is introduced through the ducts deeply under the skin.
Because of the great diversity of active agents available, there are many possible applications:
- Treatment of acne
- pigmentation marks
- tightening of tissues and breasts
- treatment of cellulite
- reduction of love handles (lipolysis)
- treatment of scars and stretchmarks
